And again we are under "free server performance test" :)

Andrew Boon posted 11th of October 2010 in . 19 comments.

...also known as DDoS attack. We're seeing about 450+Mbps (150K pps) incoming traffic, which comes handy and lets us test our web server under heavy load. NGINX is currently managing 70,000 requests per second and is still up! Softlayer should start engaging their protection service shortly, but meanwhile it looks like the new server setup is very effective.

Whoever does this, if you're listening... could you double your efforts? Our server needs a harder workout ;)

@everyone

Sorry for any inconveniences that this rumble may cause. Unfortunately, success often disturbs sleep of losers and they cause temporary troubles. It can only be a good sign. Stay tuned!

Ack. Don't invite them to try harder. I would rather see them behind bars.
Andrew Boon
I would rather see them face to face, but you know how cowards are...
RonBo01
Nope, I'm with Andrew, face to face, and a piece at a time.
dillydip
lol your funny andrew, that's exactly what they are losers with nothing better to do, I bet you it's someone who has no life at all, his only motivation is trying to fit into someone elses so they can feel important
umeshtmi1
I just can't wait to see how Andrew gets to thrash this loser once he locates him/her........:D ;) :)
elcentcom
try http://visualware.com they also have tools to track down hackers

I haven't used it for years but I think now it's the time to use it again.

Don't put them behind bars - face to face works - not bars :-)

Andrew, do you guys keep a log of the offending IP addresses? I'd be interested in knowing if there's any geographical commonality amongst the attacking IPs.

Let the Boonex Team have a go at him/them in a locked room and video tape it for a Dolphin Commercial. Caption "Dolphins Gone Mad"

boonex is blocked by HP users and others who use Comodo thus affecting millions of users I guess. The websites with boonex scripts are not loading correctly either, see more at least most of them. All have issues though when trying in various browsers, from not displaying to not being able to login.

That's pretty old news. It's not Boonex's fault if Mcafee, Trend Micro, Commode, and others databases of 'Malware' sites haven't been updated in 9 months. They are all idiots. If a site gets infected for one day.... and ONLY one day, and gets reported, it's stupid to blacklist it for all eternity.

Dear Andrew,
You know you've hit the big time when:
A. You build a killer social platform that anyone can download for free- and in the Forums people are snotty.
B. You test the hell out of whatever you're delivering to make it stable-yet you're the bitch for being late.
C. Trolls undermine the beauty of it all.
Pfft.
Look at it this way, after this, Site Security will be your middle name.
Cudos buddy.
SkyForum
I'm with you on the face to face meeting Andrew. Let me know if that's a possibility and I will be glad to come help 'control' the meeting for you. (6'4", 295 lbs.)

@houstonlively

BoonEx.com site was removed from Mcafee blacklist long tome ago, Comodo and Trend Micro delisting procedures are in progress.

Thank you for your reports, if you notice that some other security software blocks boonex.com site, please let us know immediately.
elcentcom
great, I checked it and the warnings have gone.
CodeSatori
Yea, take it with attitude. Way to go Andrew! =)

Dos,
No disrespect, but when you are a creator, initial releases require that the community help troubleshoot and perfect the product. Especially if the community is smack talking how long it was taking and demanding it (as they were here in the forums) right NOW! If troubleshooting is too high of a price to pay for the new thing, then catch the second wave.
Judging from your expertise in this community, I know you know this is true.
Sincerely,
Scott
