2MB Upload Limit, which folders need php.ini change?

Ok so in my other blog post i was able to find the source of my 2mb upload limit, it was the php.ini default setting of 2 megabytes, i contact my hosting provider and they told me that i can make my own php.ini file however its settings aren't applied recursively and it must be copied to every folder you wish to use custom settings for.

So i am wondering, i am getting the "upload shouldnt exceed 2mb" pink box when trying to upload profile music.  Which folders should i place the new modified php.ini files into?  Or do i really need to add it to every single folder?  Thank you!

Are you on a adedicated server? Ask your host to please tell you where the php.ini is located and where can you make the changes. If you are on a shared account then your host will have to do this for you.

Most of the time your host will still make the required changes for you if you just ask them to do it. It is not hard at all if you have access to it.

If you have WHM then look in tweak settings, or php settings.
