I have been building online communities since the 1980's. My first web site went online in 1996. I am also the founder of an all-volunteer non-profit organization that helps people with mental illness get peer to peer counseling which is focused on treatment and recovery. Our program is available at no cost and encourages people with mood disorders to get treatment that helps reduce mortality; avoid hospitalization; and improve their overall quality of life. I'm in the process of setting up a new site, using this program, that will incorporate the many social features of Dolphin in a safe online environment that centers around sharing experiences which help others start working towards their own recovery.
