This Pre-Launcher module allows Administrators to put their site online with preliminary information while it is being developed but not fully ready for launching as yet.
Once installed, the module limits access to the site by always displaying the Launch page, not matter which site URL is visited. Of course, Administration access is still allowed and the pre-launch is not displayed while logged in. This particular functionality is disabled on the demo site but will be noticeable once you install the module.
COUNTDOWN SECTION
This allows you to show the progress of when your Website will launch. This section has a definable 'Progress Percentage' feature which allows you to tell the widget when you are expecting to launch, and in return, the widget will show a progress bar informing your community of the progress of your Website development.
For the Count-Down display, it is shown in Days, Hours, Minutes and Seconds.
Finally, if the layout does not suite your needs; you can always modify the included CSS files to suit your particular needs.
REGISTRATION SECTION
It is possible to capture visitor information (specifically Name and Email). This information can be used to make further contact or to provide early bird specials etc. If additional information is need to be captured for your specific purpose, please contact me.
The Admin section will display how many persons have pre-registered.
In the Admin section, it is possible to export an Excel listing of all registrants.
SOCIAL CONNECTION SECTION
These days, individuals as well as businesses operate hub pages on the major social networks as a way to communicate with users and customers across a range of mediums.
This section will display social connection links (in the form of social media icons) on the "Coming Soon" page. By default, the following connections can be made : Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Vimeo, Flickr, Email, RSS feed. An icon will be displayed for each of the particular networking profiles for which you have entered details. You do not have to use every one of them, only the ones that you have actual accounts for.
There are different icon sets that the site administrator can choose from.
