This Add-on allows you to run Points Contests on your site. Members will really have a good reason to visit the site daily !!!.
Our Points module should already be installed on this site before installing this Add-on.
GENERAL FEATURES
Eligible Members are automatically entered into each running contest once they accumulate Points on the site.
The winners are selected based on the Top number of Points earned during contest duration.
For each contest created, a start and end date is assigned. On the end date, winners are automatically chosen, prizes are automatically awarded and the contest is automatically flagged as closed.
Each contest can have multiple winners (1st Place, 2nd Place etc).
HOME PAGE
Leader-board displays the Point leaders for the current active Contest.
PRIZES SECTION
Admin can setup multiple prizes for each contest.
Each prize can be configured for a particular winning position (eg 1st prize, 2nd prize etc).
Prizes can be physical or Virtual Items.
If you have our Points mod installed, you can choose to give winners Points as a Prize.
If you have our Credits mod installed, you can choose to give winners Credits as a Prize.
If you have our Rewards mod installed, you can choose to give winners a Reward as a Prize.
Prizes Page allows selection from list of all Active Contests and displays available Prizes for each contest.
LEADERS SECTION
Leaders Page allows selection from list of all Active Contests and displays leaders for each contest.
WINNERS SECTION
Winners Page allows selection from list of all Past Contests and displays the winners for the selected contest.
CONTEST ENTRY CRITERIA
For each contest created, Admin can decide who has access (eg. females only, members from USA only etc)
The available filtering options are Age, Country, Gender and Membership Level
MEMBERSHIP FILTER
Ability to limit entering Contests to particular Membership Levels.
Ability to limit viewing of Contest Entries to particular Membership Levels.
HOW PERSONS ENTER CONTESTS
Step 1 - Sign up on the site and become a registered member.
Step 2 - Members participate in site activities and earn Points.
Step 3 - Members who meet the criteria for a particular Contest are automatically entered as Contestants.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Administrator can outline the Terms and Conditions for each individual contest.
