Dares is a social media module where your members get to dare their friends and other site members to do challenging tasks. Video Dares will accept only Video entries and Photo dares accept Photos as proof of completion.
Members can :
- Post a dare for the entire community or send a challenge to a specific member only.
- Accept a dare and upload videos or pictures as proof that they did complete a task.
- Vote on other users’ Video/Photo entries.
This will have a viral effect on your site as members will visit and check out the crazy things other members are doing everyday!
If a member got something they want to see fulfilled, they can dare someone to do it!
If a member like an activity that another have dared persons to do they can Hype it! If they think it’s lame they can Diss it!
Members who give Hypes and Street Cred are prominently displayed on the Dare and Entry pages. This will encourage members to participate.
HYPES
This is a way for the community to acknowledge whether a dare concept is innovative or not. If members like a dare, they can make it more popular by hyping it. Interesting dares will get more hypes.
STREET CREDITS
Earn street credits by completing dares and impressing your friends and fans.
If a dare entry is interesting, members can give street credits to the poster.
VIDEO ENTRIES
Site Administrator can allow entrants to upload Videos to the Server for Dare Entries or they can disable upload and only allow embedding from Youtube. This is a way of saving on Server space and resources.
PHOTO ENTRIES
In addition to Video Entries, for some dares it is suitable to submit Photo Entries instead. The Dare creator decides which kind of Entries is acceptable (whether Video or Photo).
COMMENT and RATING
Apart from Hypes, members can also rate and comment on dares.

I'm actually surprised that I'm the first to post a review here----> This is an AWESOME MOD! One must also keep in mind that many Modzzz mods can be customized, and also have Points integration. I'm using this mod to both add an element of challenge as well as element of help and education! I've removed the ability to down Hype, and I'm using thumbs-ups instead of arrows- just a couple quick tweaks. All-in-all though- This is yet another creative, engaging feature for your site in the continuing see more
