Technical Checklist...

This simple and free mod adds a sound notification to simple messenger module (which is a part of Dolphin 7 by default).

Every time your members would be getting a new message via simple messenger a short sound will be playing letting them know that a new message is waiting for their attention. If you will not like default sound which is provided in the package you can at any time replace just one mp3 file on your server with your own notification.

Thanks for the MOD. Some users do not pay attention to the IM box on the member bar, so adding a beep is very ideal. Of course, I had to change the default beep to something I could hear :)

Excellent modification - works perfectly. Top top: the sound I've used is a bubble sound (http://www.partnersinrhyme.com/soundfx/household_sounds/Bubble5_wav.shtml) - it's free to download there, then convert to an MP3.

Nice mod AntonLV...if you like the beep sound only when the window is blinking, add the soundManager.play('beep'); only @ the end of the setBlinkMode section ;)

Great mod Anton. Was VERY much needed. Though I did change the beep which sounded very much like a default Windows Vista sound to a nice pop instead. One question though, how do I get it to pop only when I receive a message instead of how it is now which pops when I send AND receive a message? I kinda know when I have sent a message...........haha!

It's possible but will require much more modifications in messenger files. In this case the mod would be hard to install.
