profile feeds

i have a template almost exactly the same as the 1 used on facebook and i need the feeds to be assigned 1 is message icon so when a member recieves a message a notification will show that i have a message and has a short description also if i get a friend request it should show on friend requests icon with short view also same with notifications so i basically want these notifications to be like facebooks simple and understandable think you can do this job? contact me
