I would like to create a photo gallery where my members can drag and drop photos to a folder which is connect to their profile after selecting the photos they like they will have to hit a publish tab which will automaticlly publish these photo to a photo album ...Step 1

i believe there is an ajax photo upload module in the market that does somthing similar, it would probably have to be moded to fit you exactly, but would be cheaper and easier than building it from scratch.
