Dark Text Color on Dark Template

I had a template created but it wasn't done successfully when it comes to the text vs. template color contrast.  Basically, all the text that is black on the site needs to be changed to white OR my template can be lightened instead of rewriting the template.  There are a few issues also with inserting hyperlinks which are barely visible.  Playing around/testing will be needed to understand my issue at hand.   

Any ideas/suggestions?
