Template market

Is is just me, or is the template market drying up? Is there anyone that is working on real, modified templates? It's tiring looking at all the templates in the market, and for the most part, are generally just overpriced colour scheme changes...

Only one that stands out to me is AndrewP.

Anyone know any decent templates that might not be in the Market?

Thanks

Ive bought a few from Gorpus before and have always been good.

I agree though, there are far too many priced up as 'new' templates when infact they are just slight colour changes here and there...

Dont think there will be much in the template market movement for a while though, at least until 7.1 is released.

Am sure there will be a surge of new 7.1 based templates soon after..

I sure hope the template developers are working on unique designs for 7.1 :) Without something like that, I'll be sticking with 7.0.9 unfortunately. I have to hand it to derartmedia even though he's been banned. At least he really designed a template that didn't look like boonex :) I had no problem with him when I needed help.

Ahh well, guess we can only wait and see

Most template developers try to stick with the dolphin standards so templates are compatible with the template switcher and the profile customizer.

More unique designs can be done if the site is only going to use one template, or if boonex would find a way to allow templates to switch the page block design boxes on the fly instead of requiring a change in the database.

If boonex would implement the unique page block feature dolphin has into the template system, then you could see a lot of unique designs.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
