Square credit card processing

Has anyone created a module to allow us to use the "Square" for credit card processing? We use it for all other ecommerce events but cannot use it with our Dolphin site. Paypal is outdated and unusable when we're out in the field hosting events.

Currently, we cannot create a module for Square. There's no API at the moment.

Yea. I don't get the outdated statement either. Because it is not.

Hell if you have a iPhone, paypal now has a device you can plug into your iphone allowing you to swipe credit cards from anywhere.

 Yup i have one and it works great when i am out on the road or at home...  Also works on my galaxy s2 just fine (droid)
