Remove the text "Array" on the right of Title

after upgrade from 6.09 to 7.1 ----

I have issue as text "Array" displayed right o the right side of the Title on my homepage/ How and why ??

how do i remove it please help me what file do i edit to remove the text

You have a 3'rd party module that is trying to insert something to the right of the logo.

What did you have to the right of the logo on your 7.0.9 site. Once you remember that, you should know what is causing it.

when it was on 6.0.9  -- i have logo on the left top corner of the homepage.

AFter upgrade to 7.1.0 ---- the logo moved to the middle of the page AND the texst "Array" inserted there by itself.

I really don't know what is going on.

Is there such thing as you can install something to repaird your site to it original stage as it suppose to be ????

No biggies here.  If you had your logo left-aligned; then it probably got moved over to the right by the search box that is to the left.  You can remove that search box or even relocate if you wish to keep it.

Go into your Admin Panel and check the Basic settings and see if there the word Array appears anywhere.

I did a page view and it just shows the word Array after the closing anchor tag for the logo.

BTW I still have your entire site backed up, including your menus and other pages we created...

I thought I had removed them but found them on my secondary server. 

Getting the site up to 7.1 will be easy.  

[edit] make sure you grab all you modules from the market that have been updated to 7.1

That "array" is left over from one of your old banners OR your using templates that are not for 7.1 as I see it too.

Check all your "top" banners in admin. Update them too.

You still have the old 7.0.9 templates installed.

You were to have removed them and switched to the UNI template before you upgraded.

Old templates should be deleted.

No. I upgrade to 7.1 - then i upgrade hosting - unfortunately they do nove migrate everything. No I do not have old stuffs. I may contact hosting and questions them why they not transfer everythings. 

Do you use any ad-service by inlcuding some javascript in the headers etc? I once did, it was a rewriting code of a big ad company and i also got some strange words over there all the time. I cannot remember exactly but i think it was also some text saying "array". Instead of one "array" i always got 3 times under each other. So maybe some javascript is responsible for that.

I think It is the custom templates combo I bought which are not compitible with new version (7.1) -- i am un-install the combo templates and see if this issue will be resolved. Thank you I will post here what i find out

Open the following file:

/templates/base/_sub_header.html

Find:

<bx_injection:injection_logo_after />

Replace with:

<!-- bx_injection:injection_logo_after / -->

Clear Cache

I believe that was to show the quotes on the old template.

You did it - Yes it is gone the "Array" text left over from one of the custom templates which are not compatible with dolphin ver 7.1 according to the developer. They sent me instruction how to remove the templates but it is so complex and I am affraid to messup my site ---- this morning i read your post & You made my day Sir. Starange thing happes after I edit the _sub_header.html

the "Array text is gone --- but the login block from homepage is also GONE ????

Thats because the logon block on dolphin 7.1 also uses that injection. So you can't just remove it.

I am sure it is coming from a mod you had installed on your 7.0 site before you upgraded.

Deano You are right -- I have insruction from the developer who i bought the combo template which are not compitable with dol 7.1

So i have to un-istall the custom templates. I am doing it right now and hope i will not messup - Thanks you all - iwill post here after i remove custom templates

you need to remove:

1. "tmpl_xxx" in root/templates

2. "tmpl_xxx" in root/modules/boonex/_needed_module_/templates directory.

in the following modules:

files
membership
payment
pall
shoutbox
wall

I want to say thank you for everything that you did for me. Luck for me developer is helping me right now to un-istall the custom combo templates, these templaes are no compatible with dol ver 7.1 according to developer which casuing the Text "Array" on the right side of my site Title. It is quite complex to install them so It is very hard for me to un-istall as so many files and folders are alterded and update when these costom templates was installed. Have a great weekend. I had the same issue with the array text showing at the top of my page as you did by commenting out the  <bx_injection:injection_logo_after /> line I did get the array text not to show but I did not notice until today that it also removed the profile, account and logout links which caused me to look further into the issue.

I was half way right it is coming from the quotes. The final solution is in the data base in the  sys_injections table. Once you are viewing that table look for the row named quotes_injection. Edit the active column from 1 to 0 and that will remove the array text next to the logo. Or you can remove the row. I made it inactive for myself just in case I wish to use it some where else on the site all I would have to do is change the key and set it to active.
