Orca does not work with Firefox?

Hi guys,

I was hoping someone could help me. My first encouter with Dolphin, got it all installed fine. However, whenever I try and look at the /orca/ forum, I get nothing but raw code pumped out.

I noticed this only happens on Firefox, IE seems fine. Spend an hour or so Googling and found several others posting this problem, but didn't see any solutions.

Is there a fix for this?

I just got rid of the error.. Make sure that you have XSLT enabled for PHP.

use the --with-xsl option.

and where exactly do you find that "--with-xsl" option??

I have the same problem in FF, although I can create forums, topics and posts in FF (just with lots of code above and below).

In IE it looks ok, I can create forums, but when I try to create topics/post replies it just hangs with "loading post reply page" or "loading post topic page" and gives a script error "tinyMCE is undefined".

phpinfo.php doesn't appear to mention "with-xsl" anywhere so I'm stuck as to how to fix and nobody seems to give a definitive answer.. (I've searched and searched the topics in here)

For such an (apparantly) common problem, there seems to be very little info on how to fix it, just lots of posts asking for help...

The reason why it isn't addressed because it is not a dolphin / orca problem, but a server php configuration problem.

Although I could guide you through compiling a new php install on a linux box, I'd rather not.  I would contact your hosting provider and explain you need php compiled with xslt support.

That will fix your problems.

Thanks Topher, if it had been mentioned elsewhere that it was a server error and not a software error I wouldn't have needed to ask again.

Much appreciated :) *contacts provider*

sorry to say that but if you would have used the search function that this forum provides and you look into "messages" and not in "Topic Titles" you would have had saved time....

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
