Does anyone know where I can find more info on how the affiliate program works once I have enabled the affiliate support option in Dolphin 6.1.6?
I would like to know such things as:
1) How does the affiliate get paid?
Does the system send them their percent payment automatically, or do I have to keep track of it myself and send individual payments?
2) Were does an affiliate enter their payment info?
3) Is it strictly a one-tier affiliate program or can I set-up multiple tiers?
If multi-tiered, how do I set it up?
4) Does the percent an affiliate receives apply to recurring payments?
For example an affiliate refers a member who pays $15/month for a membership fee. At the default 10% commission level they would earn $1.50. Does the affiliate program give them this percent recurring monthly when the referred member makes their payment or is it a one-time commission?
5) Is there a way to change the default 10% commission level? If so, how?
6) If the above is not taken care of by the Dolphin installed affiliate program, can anyone recommend a better way to run my affiliate program?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated. I would like to launch an affiliate program ASAP to help grow my community. I have been searching for these answers for a few days now with little to no results. Please help if you can answer even one of the questions.
