Every time I go back to the menu builder it re-arranges the order. If I go to edit one of the active items, say my profile. I change one of the fields and uncheck visible for guest access or example. However I had my menu setup, it changes the order back to some kind of default setting. is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong every single time.. ? |
What browser are you using?
Chrome, by any chance? My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees. |
I do use chrome alot. i can try in IE and firefox and see if does the same thing. Never really thought it was a browser item, but sounds like it could be from your response. |
Can not reproduce.
Also try to uninstall 'profiler' module and check again

Happens to me a lot. The dashboard menu item moves most frequently. I typically use Chrome. Profiler is not installed. |
Confirmed it does not happen in IE. Looks like a chrome issue. |

Have you tried to uninstall Profiler module ?
If Profiler module is not installed then please can you provide access to your site via PM to check the problem ?

has either of the ones facing this issue provided AlexT access to the site for confirmation on the issue, since he was unable to reproduce on his end?

It's not a webkit issue, looks like it is just Chrome... very nice to know! :) All this time I've been opening a page every time I wanted to edit the blocks or the menu, so I could remember how to re-sort everything. Minor adjustments were major ordeals. Maybe that's how Chrome is so fast... it ignores whatever it feels like. |
It is definitely a Chrome only issue. Turns everything in nav menu upside down.
I tend to use Firefox for the Admin panel and Chrome for the front end. Am not using Internet Explorer at all now as there are too many issues.
