ERROR: Database query error. PLEASE HELP!

Hey,  I spent a lot of time yesterday updating some fields on the website, I also added a new field to "sex" so that businesses could sign-up for the site without labeling the business male or female.  Now I am learning that everytime someone trys to sign up, it returns a ERORR: Database Query Error.  I really have no idea what happened or where to even look.  Can someone please help me find the error?????

ERORR: Database Query Error this uselly happens when the script can't login to your DB.

possable fixes.

double check USERNAME and Password.

double check your mysql server is running.

double check you DB for scripting issues.

always make a back up of you DB before making changes to it.

to avoid having to start all over.
