Show Pop-Up Alert if Profile Not Saved

Hi, if a member tries to save their profile and there is an error, a red icon appears next to the field. I would also like to show an alert/pop-up box letting them know that there is an error in their profile. Does anyone know how to do this please? I know its a simple fix but just cant figure it out. Im using version 6.1.

Me too think that errors have to be much more visible in the join form...

Hi, Just to update, I think I cracked it now. Go to: inc/js/pedit.js and in the function: doShowEditErrors (..) add the following code near the bottom :

if( bHaveErrors )
alert( 'There are errors in your profile');

Hope this helps someone.

Update : If this does not work try deleting the member files in the "cache" folder
