You should read this

From there you are given the option to download a revision set of files. Click HERE and download the zip archive at the very bottom of the page and overwrite your existing files with these.

1.  Why would you delete a stable D6.1.6 site to install an unstable D7 Beta application?  D7 is far from being ready to run a site on.  Now, to fix your problem do the following:

  • Delete your D7 install
  • Re-Install D 6.1.6 where it was
  • Re-Install D7 Beta 8 into a subdirectory of D 6.1.6 (There is going to be no upgrade script to take D7 Beta # to D7 RC so your making a huge mistake if you place D7 as the main site right now.
  • Go to this link:  http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/changeset/13117 It has the information you need to bring your D7 Beta 8 into compliance with reality.  You need to follow the instructions and add the items in green to your source files and delete the items in pink from your source files.  It has a really nice color coded key to help you out with it.

Enjoy, you have lots to do now and we should see ya again in a few hours.

***Edit:  Dang it!  Chris beat me again.  Oh well, at least I got to make a shiny list!!!  <<:))

I did everything it said to do in the changeset/13117, and nothing, still have the same problem, I still have my beta 4 on another folder and it works fine, no problems, why does it work then but not now, why would they change what works, and say they have fixed what was wrong?Frown

I see that both sites are installed, so where are you getting this Possible Attack?

P.S. You need to update your link to http://www.hobbycrazed.com/home

I can see directory listing just by browsing to http://www.hobbycrazed.com

Ok, so you are not adding any special characters like ' " { [ / \ or any other that can be used in HTML codes are you?

Nope, just trying to disable or delete categories, its a bmx site, don't need any of that crap it is preloaded with haha,

by the way, thank you for the quickest reply I have ever got here

Not a problem, Just outta curiousity do these categories have any commas, apostrophes, or any other special characters in them? The reason I ask is because I have seem this same thing before when using special characters.

If not, Can you tell me the name of the category you have and I will add one myself on mysite and try to delete it to see if I can duplicate your problem.

They are the categories that are in the script when you download it, I haven't added any, I want to disable all or delete all, that are currently there in the groups section

But I have the answer that works:

http://www.boonex.com/unity/blog/entry/Dolphin_7_Hookie_Beta_8_Online_Demo_updated

Per Victor (quoting him so this is who you contact):

"If, somehow, you still can't install the Beta 8 version, please contact me via PM with the details of your issues and the access to your site. Then, we can go ahead and check this individually."

And that is the best we can do with it right now.
