Try:

  1. Empty the license field under Administration > Settings > Advanced Settings > Variables.
  2. Logout of the administration panel.
  3. Login to the administration panel (/administration/) and enter the license when requested.

Also make sure allow_url_fopen is enabled.

I have the same problem, but my provider wont allow the "allow_url_fopen"

Any other options?

Find another host who fully supports this script's requirements.

Yes I want to switch to another one, but I have a contract till may 2011.

Thats why I asked if there was another option in the meanwhile.

If your server is running PHP as CGI, you may be able to use a local php.ini file and enable allow_url_fopen that way.

You can try adding this to your .htaccess file:

php_flag allow_url_fopen on

If that doesn't work, you'll have to find a new hosting provider.

You need to add that to your .htaccess file in the root directory of your installation.

sir okweb told me this and it worked,,,,

The steps to registering a license is:

- Remove the 'free' license that already exisits

- Save it

- Log completely out of your site

- Login to the admin panel by accessing it directly www.yoursite.com/administration

- Once logged in, you 'should' be prompted to enter a license key

- Enter it and submit

- If that still fails, try clearing your /cache (except the .htaccess file) and /cache_public directories and try again

You can also try deleting the LIC Key you have in there and then closing your browser and going back to the ADMIN page and it will ask you to put in your new Lic Key...

Thanks friend, but I already did that, I went as far as uninstalling and reinstalling Dolphin 7, still doesnt work, I figured out how to get the branding off of the top of the pages, but not the bottom.

Please do the following...

Remove your License from the "Settings/Advanced Settings/Variables

Logout of the admin

Logback in and it will ask you to enter your license. Then it will work.

Thanks,
