That is a rockin' thing to do.  I was under attack and came to these forums to beg for help and BAM!  There was your solution.  I wish everyone shared the same sense of community instead of publishing mods for $10.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Laughing

Exactly.

Thanks sammie!

I know mscott, dosdawgs and few others shared their time and info when the members in the community were under attack and in trouble. Unfortunately you will find those who will see this as an opportunity for *them*.

Yuppers Sammie!! Thanks for posting.

I shouldn't even mention this but, after seeing this I was just looking at expertzzz to see if anyone happend to try to make a $buck off this. I didn't see it, praveens was already there. But I still wouldn't doubt if one pops up.

I wasn't effected either, but I have been keeping a tighter watch over things.

Hmmmm......

I must have missed the memo about Boonex releasing a patch - so nobody should purchase a fix.

I've been watching, and I've seen a lot of people ask, but the only seemingly official response blamed it on the hosting & never suggested any patch was in the works. The posts I saw spent more time laughing at the whole situation (which struck me as very condescending at the time),  than it did informing people that a patch was on the way..... so hold on.

Bah... doesn't matter now, since this lovely lady went out of her way to help everyone.  Laughing

Thank you to everyone who has helped. Especially sammie, since she did so much to help us. I'm not trying to be hyper critical of Boonex, I just would have liked to have seen something saying that help was on the way so that she wouldn't have had to spend her money, only to have a staff member say they didn't understand her decision (which also came off sounding more than a little condescending to me - but that's just my opinion)

This whole situation is kinda silly, from a security & support perspective. Thank God for the Unity members who have been so kind as to help. I have a sneaky feeling that without it, this would not have been fixed for a good long time.

Now if we could just come up with a script that would make hackers take long walks off of short piers...... hmmmm! LOL
