Possible security attack issue.........AGAIN

I was trying to add a string to the language files:

__4'8\" - 4'11\" (141-150cm).

It wouldn't save so I assumed it was already in there. I entered the key into the "Look for" field and when I checked the apply box it triggered the "Possible security attack!!! All data has been collected and sent to the site owner for analysis."

Is this bug still not fully dealt with? Thought it had been nipped in the butt!!!

Im not sure what to call it. For some reason the PHPIDS feature in Dolphin can not figure out what is legit and what is a threat. So with that being said, you can do one of two things:

In admin panel>settings>advanced settings>other

- Bump the total impact levels high enough to do what you want

- put the impact levels at -1 to disable this feature all together (your choice)

Chris

Nothing to see here

I still fail to see an advantage to turning it on.

Got around it another way actually.....

.............just changed the keys and strings so that there were no quotation marks or back slashes

e.g.  __4'8\" - 4'11\" (141-150cm)

now is

       __4ft8in - 4ft11in (141-150cm)

Why go backwards when you can go sideways? lol

You can also change the key to something without the " or / in it and then put the " and / in the new key.

Received emai saying possible attack when sending mass email. Anyone else had this?

I think it was Chris who suggested putting your security settings in Advanced Settings to -1 and -1. Worked for me.
