Places

This allows members to post comprehensive information about interesting places.

The mod has unique features such as :
-> the ability to post Reviews of Places
-> the ability to add the following sub-sections to a Location
a) Events
b) Accommodation
c) Transportation
d) Shops
e) Nightlife
f) Eateries
g) Schools
Each of the above will appear as a built-in sub-section of a particular location. The administrator has the ability to enable/disable each of these sub-sections.

After a location is posted, other members can add sub-sections (accommodations, nightlife, events etc.) to it. The poster decides who (fans, friends etc.) can add such information.

The mod has localization features that allows drilling down based on Countries and States.


THE MAIN FEATURES INCLUDES :

LOCATION REVIEWS

Members can post Feedback and Reviews on Locations and sub-sections (Events, Nightlife etc.). This will provide enlightening information for potential travelers.

Posting a Review has the following components :
-> the reviewer can give a general feedback plus state Pros and Cons.
-> the reviewer can give a rating (1-5)
-> the reviewer can state whether or not they would recommend the place

Members can flag whether a Review was helpful to them. A block is displayed on the Review page listing all members who found the Review helpful.


BUSINESS LISTING INTEGRATION (optional)

If you have my business listings module, you can plug it into locations so your members can list businesses at particular locations. So when members want to add a School, Eatery etc. to a Location, it will be added as a regular Business listing and displayed in both the Business listing module and on the Location page for which it was added.


EVENTS INTEGRATION

Ability to add Activity Spots and Events such as Parachuting, Ice Skating, Hunting and Fishing etc.

Location module has Events as a built-in sub-section but you can choose to integrate it with default Dolphin Events instead.


SCHOOLS INTEGRATION

SHOPS

LOCATIONS LOCALIZATION

The mod includes a listing of States/Regions for all Countries. When adding an Location, the State field is automatically populated upon selection of a Country.

You can drill down Locations. An additional section is included which lists all Countries in the world. Upon selection of a Country, all regions in that Country are displayed. Upon selection of a Region, all of its locations are displayed.

Block to display other members that are in the same location as the Profile owner.
