I have no problem uploading photos and video via my smartphone.

You are talking about the regular site on a mobile and not the mobile app?

Just try to upload photo from your smartphone or mobile phone, you will get an error message

Has anyone found a solution to this yet?

I noticed that phones save the file as jpeg and the extensions accepted automatically in admin panel are (jpg png gif) I did try adding jpeg but still got same error. This error could become a very big problem because a very large majority of people use phones to connect.

Hope someone is able to find a fix soon.

I got the "Wrong file extension error" when uploading photo from my samsumg tablet in  http://gayjaxonline.com/

This error should be fixed somewhere in the BxPhotosupload.php . When I checked this file, only 3 format has been defined  (jpg, gif and png). As phone and tablet save photos as jpeg, this is why uploading could not be done.

This error should be fixed somewhere in the BxPhotosupload.php .

 That is done here..  /modules/index.php?r=photos/administration/settings

add what you need.

The site is set now to accept "jpeg;" can you please test again?

I even put jpeg in the admin panel earlier aswell. Still had the same error. There is still a lot of things out of date with dolphin, even most phone/tablet views are all over the place. Someone mention to me earlier they should of updated the whole scripts button system to bootstrap at the moment it uses old school java buttons and the text is out of place on some tablet browsers.

I'm just going to have to deal with it for the time being and hopefully there will be a 7.3 version at some point.

It has been reproduced by Nathan, then he added the "jpeg" and it worked for him.

The ticket will remain open so they can add this to build.

Just to be clear, did you add 'jpeg' or 'jpng'? Also, can you upload an affected image to this thread?

Please answer this is very urgent:

while uploading from android mobile,

why photo upload in profile says file upload failed. Also in photos menu.

But the same photo is uploadable in timeline.

Thank you.
