Will Dolphin Pro see a new ffmpeg?

The current version of ffmpeg that ships with Dolphin is ffmpeg version 0.10.  Really?  The current ffmpeg available is version 2.6 which has seen improvements and bug fixes.  It is quite possible that some of our video processing woes might be improved with an updated version of ffmpeg.  Of course we can grab the source code and compile our own; however, it would be nice to see Dolphin Pro 7.2 ship with the latest version of ffmpeg.

Yes, we will update ffmpeg with Dolphin Pro 7.2 release, also you don't need to compile it by yourself, you can grab ready binaries for your OS, rename to ffmpeg.exe (except on Windows OS) and upload to flash/modules/global/app/ffmpeg.exe:

ffmpeg for Windows

ffmpeg for Mac OSX

ffmpeg for Linux

But slight changes may be needed, if some parameters were changed...
