I have noticed when i embed a video on the video uploader or from the wall, youtube appears on the evowall a link without a photo to click on the to watch it on the wall,  while when i embed from vimeo, dailymotion or any other i can see the photo of the video and can be watched on the wall at a movie. How can i fix to see the youtube on the evowall.

Is it possible to add a line of code to show from wich location a member posted a post ( status, photo, video, url etc. ).
Just like on Facebook?

On the module configurator, you can choose the name format (nickname, first name, full name/real name)

Im having an interesting problem when posting/sharing photo on other social network.
It only give the link and site name but doesnt share the photo

any ideas?

I'm considering of buying the locations module of Modzzz ( http://www.boonex.com/m/events-location-combo ) but only when it's working fine with the EvoWall module. Is it easy to intergrate within the module? It would be ideal if members can check-in in a location within the post to wall section. Just like on FB. Is this possible to do?

Generally we add new modules to the EvoWall updates, when many customers ask the same feature. When only a customer require a new feature, we apply a cost for customization.

Soon we'll release the new version of EvoWall, where you need to add the facebook app id in the module configuration.

The new share system of Facebook require the app ID.

How can i change the avatar in the Wall ( class="mioavats" ) to the avatar icon size? For some pages we set the normal avatar size to 450px x 450px, because we display them very big. If the css in the wall crops it you get a ugly picture. If we can use the avatar icon for that ( just like in comments ) he uses 64px x 64px.

I am a little confused. I don't really know a good way to report what just happened. There were two members logged in. Myself and another.  The other member made a post and after posting he was logged out or maybe accidentally somehow was caught between sessions or something.  The post was made with my avatar and name attached to it instead of is.  It was nothing but plain text.  I commented on it twice I it sent me email notifications of new comments.  The other member has the only "couples" profile on my site. I do not know how that would be related though. 

After further investigation of his post I tried to re-post for him with copy and paste under his name.  EvoWall kept saying Invalid URL or that the service was down or something like that. There were no URLS in his post.  Finally I noticed that he did not place a "space" after a ".period" ending his sentence.  The next sentences started with the letter "I". This what sparked evowall to keep blocking his post. Juts because he did not space after a period.  This is the exact phrase " video.I" that triggered evo wall to block a text post saying invalid url. As for what happened to cause the post to fall under my username and avatar I have no idea.

Why doesn't get anybody an quick answer on their questions? The service is now not that good for a expensive set of modules...

I have a problem with the comments and likes on the wall. I've added a fancybox when someone wants to see a photo or video on the Wall bigger. So no links to the albums anymore. We want just like on FB, Instagram etc. to show the photo / video + description + comments and likes.

After a lot of testing everything works and we're very glad with it. Only 1 problem...
The code to show and make likes + comments is also outside the fancybox. ( we want to show and make likes + comments in the fancybox AND on the wall, just like on all the  big social networks )

If you place a comment on the wall ( NOT inside the fancybox )  you don't see a thing happen. The comment you just typed stands there. Also he's not visible in the comments on the wall. If you click on the pop-up, the comments looks placed but he placed a blank comment.

Also a small problem with the likes. If you click on like / unlike on the wall you also don't see a thing happen. When you open the fancybox you see that the photo / video just got liked / unliked.

So it looks like everything works in the fancybox. Only if you want both things ( EvoWall and Fancybox ) it doesn't work on the EvoWall. 

Hopefully someone can help us with this problem to make it work properly . It would be the best if Ilbellodelweb could help. I think a lot of people would love to have fancyboxes integrated in the EvoWall module.

Experiencing even more issues now in other areas of the site that is not EvoWall. So I don't think this has anything to do with EvoWall.  I do have Deanos Anti Spam module installed. Today I realized when I go to my account page and click on a sub menu item like "Privacy Groups" and a couple others but not all it changes my avatar next to the account title to another random member. If I click to go to my profile or change any settings it stays as my account and my avatar changes back. Returning to privacy groups or some other sub menu items again changes my displayed avatar as another member. I'll post to the forums for support.

When someone post a "message" on his / her own profile there's a post for it. We made a little adjustment to it, so it has the same style as on the rest of our site.

Is it possible to define the gender of the member and set his / her in the post? ( depending of the gender of the member that posted the message )

If the member is a female you get ... posted something on her profile.
If the member is a male you get ... posted something on his profile.

Important: facebook changed the share function, so from this version of EvoWall you must insert in the module configuration the facebook app id of your site.

We have decided to meet the request to make EvoWall resposive, as you know Dolphin is not natively responsive and this feature is not mandatory for the module's development. So we hope you can appreciate this effort and report every eventual issue.

Hey Guys - just installed Version: 1.6.6, and discovered a really annoying issue with the way restricted access is displayed. A large semi-transparent overlay covers most of the entire profile page with the "This wall is private..." message in the middle?  The profile cover, column's 1 and 3 are covered (column 2 is news feeds block).  The overlay should really affect only the News Feed block and not the surrounding page blocks.

Please clarify if this is what was intended for blocked access to the News Feed block.

I have the version just prior to this but if you take a look here http://myhuntprofile.com/Jason you will see what I've done instead of the option you are viewing.  I created my own custom block and placed it where the profile wall is but made it viewable only to guest.  It looks a little nicer than perhaps what you are explaining.  Sounds like that might not be an option in the newest version though. Typically a block just disappears if you are not allowed to view it.  What you describe sounds like what things typically do when a membership level does not have permission to view something rather than making the block viewable only to members in the Page Builder.  Either way I'm not running the newest version yet. Just wanted to share the implementation I did so the wall shows private for guest.

I have a question about the place where the comments are displayed in posts. I think it’s a small adjustment to make it perfect for our website, but I’ve tried a couple of things, but it isn’t working good enough.

I’ve included a sketch how we want it for more info.

We want to display the amount of likes and comments in one bar below the description. ( heavnwallbottom ) In that bar you could also like / unlike the post.

We’re testing with photo’s and video’s and placed the following code below #bloccoav. We deleted the include('like.php'); part in #messaggio, because otherwise it wasn’t working properly because there where double.

When we added it we’ve got the heavnwallbottom bar on the right place and working for the likes.

When we tried to replace the code above only with echo '<div class="heavnwallbottom">'; include('like.php'); and place the echo '</div>'; in comment.php and scomment.php before #nuovocommento'.$assegnazione.' It works a little bit. We get the right result only if someone post a new comment or clicks on show more another commentbar appears but this time outside heavnwallbottom.

Hopefully someone can help us to let it work properly, so our members can use it as before.

In our previous design the show more ( when appears ) came below the comments, we hope that this is also possible with the new design…

Just want to say Thank You for your work to make this mod responsive. I have installed 1.6.6 and it is working great as always. Just a reminder if anyone has custom memberships, you will need to give permission to those memberships to access EVO Wall or they will be unable to post.

 Someone or ilbellodelweb know the answer to this question? It's very critical that it works like that...

 Yep, your customization is exactly what I was looking for as well.  Raffaele did rectify the problem and updated the module  The file: main.php was updated.  I also had a problems displaying in Chrome browser, which is now fixed as well.

Did you send Raffaele an email? That would get the quickest response. It looks like you have a duplicate entry in your database for the Key, _ibdw_evowall_comment_name_own. If you do not want to lose post back up your database prior to any changes that you make to the site. It is also suggested that you test new mods on a duplicate test site before installing.

  The way that I installed the new version is to, back up the database, FTP the module files, then uninstall and reinstall without deleteing the module from the site completely, then clear the cache and check to make sure no posts are missing. If they are missing then I would apply the back up of the database. Also because I have custom memberships, each membership needs to have the permissions to access the wall reapplied. Then I need to make sure the blocks on each page are as I would like, in size as well as design. Also needed to apply some custom modifications to add the icons that I want used for the links.

If you have a recent back up of your site, you could probably revert back to the old evowall and retry without uninstalling first.

Just a moment,

when you receive a report about a duplicate lang key, this means that the previous language keys of the module are not removed, and generally this happens when the module has been not uninstalled propertly.

Anyway, it's possible (using PhpMyAdmin) to remove the language key that is still present when the module is not installed.

1) You must remove from the table `sys_localization_keys` all entry where the IDCategory is 84 (this will differ mine changed to 85)

2) You must remove from the table `sys_localization_keys` all entry where the 'Key' contains the prefix '_ibdw_evowall'

    Use the operator LIKE

i actually just ran a search table `sys_localization_keys` for _ibdw_evowall and removed them all.

We've been customising the wall to our own css style and now after testing we found out that the smiley in the comments are not correctly working...

If we post a comment with some text + smiley it works. If we post only a smiley, it shows not as smiley but for example as ;)

Also smiley's in messages and as description in photo's or video's are not working. But i have no idea if that supposed to work :P

1. Clear the site cache first then check. (if no good > step 2)

2. Replace the CSS with the original file from evowall then clear the site cache and check. (also do ctrl f5 to clear browser cache)

About the photodeluxe tag post ( //PHOTODELUXE LIKE, TAG, COMMENT PHOTO  ) on the EvoWall...

Is / how is it possible to post the tagged photo only on the wall of the person that's got tagged and not once again on the owner of the photo's wall?

Also is it possible to switch the avatar of that post to the owner of the photo? We would like to have that, because our "message" is ... has  posted a picture of you.

In the settings you can choose to set the option "grouping of similar posts" on. But you can only choose "posts grouping for:" the same day, week and month. We want to group posts ( especially photo's ) in the same minute.

So if you upload a lot of photo's at the same time and place them in a album you get the message "... added 5 new photo's."

Is that possible?

I don't know if i'm the only one with the following problem...

If someone likes a photo on my wall i get a notification that is wrong. I get the notification: ... commented a post of ... 

Just took a quick look on the demo site and there's the same problem...

Ok I have a new problem. If you like a post. There is a large space.

Also if I use my phone to comment someones post. There is no way of doing it? My phone does not have a submit button or and enter button on it. So there is no way I can reply to a post on the wall from my phone.

The problem is related to something introduced by the custom template. We can't reproduce the same issue on a standard D7.1 with a default template.

So we have to check your site.
