This is the support forum for Full width columns modification.

This is a nice addition to the page builder and thanks for placing it on the market for free.

I have a question; is the full width column unaffected by changing the widths of the columns below the full width column?  With the previous attempts at this if one changed the widths of the columns with the slider it broke the full width column.

 Yes, the full width columns will not be affected. Its fixed.

Nice good job, How about step by step instructions for those who have modified files and can't just replace them.

 I am trying to ignore that, way too many places to make mistakes.

I'm having a bit of a problem getting the Full Width Column to work.  I have a fresh install of 7.09.  I downloaded this mod, added and over wrote the files as instructed.  Now in Builder when I pull up a page to edit and add a column, I see the button for "Add Full Width Column", however, the text appears greyed out, not black like the other 2 buttons.  Also when I click on it, nothing happens.  No full width column appears.  What step did I miss?  Any suggestions on what to do next?  I have cleared the cache, did help.

 Sorry about that, I meant I have cleared the cache, and it didn't help, still same problems.

 Did you clear all caches in the backend as well as deleting the files in /cache and /cache_public as well as your browser cache?

 Clear your browser cache or use a different browser.

I had re-download the Patch 7.1 and it's Ok... 

Love the idea of the module,and was impatient to use it, but unfortunately I have the same issue as descrieb above.

I did clear all the cache (dolphin, ftp,...) and use different browser (chrome, IE, firefox,..) but still no success :-(

Thank you to put the module for free in the market.

I may be wrong ...IDK....But that sounds like a scenario of installing the 7.09 version files????

When I tried installing 7.09 version to 7.1 one, that's what happened to me....

 Hmm! as mentioned above. You might put the wrong file from wrong version. Try reuploading it and if issue persist mail me your login.

  Hi, I am enough sure I had the right version with the right file, as I verified and try fews times before to write here in the forum.

But I download the file again, unzip again, upload the new files again... and everythink work fine :-)

Fantastic addition to dolphin and should be a staple in the design.  My first thought was fantastic JOY as this would allow the "outline" to be able to go 1140 WooHoo but however the "Outline" will only go 5 wide with about a 2 inch gap on the right hand side.  Is there a reason it won't go to 6 grammatically because it appears there is room for another row?  Either way this is a fantastic addition and one I have wanted from day one and could never figure out why it could not be done or was never done.  Well done well done indeed...  Don't forget to clear the cache...

I am getting the same error message depending on where a thumbnail is clicked in this case it is on blocks that are in the second columns!  I read the forum first and also made sure I used 7.1 files.  This is a really easy install!  But again it will return the same error the others had.  It is not wide spread only from thumbnails... 

 I tried generating the error but can't. Try reuploading the files again.

 Are you both with this error, using some type of cache engine? Can i have the site address?

I think it has something to do with the privacy settings is that possible?  Because I get that error from the album labeled private album?

I made a new album and got this error.  How you can't see this as the module issue I have no idea as the error says getPageWidth 

this is a great addition and I really need this to work.  Is anyone else using this? 

I reinstalled my backed up files and no more errors...

 I haven't had a chance to use this on 7.1 yet.... but earlier on I gave her try and noticed some of the same strange anomalies that occurred with your mod Alex.....Really is a much needed feature though, and glad you guys have pushed this project forward.

Is there a way to make a block span just 2 columns instead of all 3 columns?

This would give a greater tiled-effect to any page...

I got this error

after upgrade to D7.1 final release from D7.1 B2

I have done only the back up file BxDolPageView.php and now it works again.

Could you give us the code or add it to the download readme file for manual installation :-)

BoonEx BoonEx BoonEx please simple add this little code as well as boonexpert Double Blocks in Column into a little update patch cos it is needed!

Boonexpert would surely agree to this as well since he got the Mouse Block Designer for Boonex Dolphin on the market :-)

I bought both :-)

Still though there are some important modules which simply need to be within standard of Dolphin and those little parts at page builder would make a huge difference, no doubt :-)

I am getting this error as well.  I installed the feature and it worked fine. I created some full column widths and actually set it up on some pages. 

But when I go to add albums  in videos or sounds I get this error as well.  For now I reinstalled my original files but I would really like to use this feature.

Any way to fix this?

check the readme file and use those steps mentioned to manually edit BxDolPageView.php 

It fixed the errors on my site

Hi There, I really like the design potential of this mod. Thanks for putting it together and making it free. Is there anything in 7.1.1 that would mess it up? It was working until I just updated so I'm trying to figure out what the problem is. The button is there but it doesn't do anything. Thoughts?

 Steps 2 and 3 in the installation instructions discuss file changes....

Is is possible that the upgrade replaced these files with new ones and you need to go over them again?

Updated to 1.0.1. Made changes for changeset #17462, #17374 and #17500

Updated the module for 7.1.1. Please replace the inc/js/classes/BxDolPageBuilder.js from the zip and clear cache.
