Premium Business Listings Mod Support (Modzzz) - part 3

There is an issue with the 'latest forum posts' with listings 7.1 ....  They are showing from oldest to newest!

Also could I suggest a block on 'view listing' page to show the listing's forum posts >> this would be great addition.

My members have expressed a need for a 'booking calendar', where they can publish available dates in their business listing & members can book those dates (making them unavailable or tentative). Much like booking a hotel room or lodging...

Do you have any modules with this functionality that would integrate with Business Listings?

In Privacy setting section of Biz;

If I make it View - Public only- It can be viewed by ALL (that is fine)

If I make it View - Members only - It can be viewed by public but NOT members.

Vers 7.0.9

Question #2 - On the listing home page the Map is too Zoomed in so I have to click "-" 6 times before I can view the map correctly. The setting for Zoom in the admin is 4. All settings are same as for job and yet it works not in Biz.

I have installed the Business listings in 7.0.9 after moving my site to a new server setup. I backed up all the tables, then did an uninstall of the module. I uploaded the latest version, and then went table by table to use SQL to replace the data.  What I found was that the uninstall does not remove any of the entries in the SYS_PAGE_COMPOSE table, and that makes for huge block replication on the reviews and testimonials browse pages.

What I have noticed, is that the Google map cannot find anything. If you type in ANY city at all it will not find it. Not sure what is broken but definitely need help on the fix.

Also, is there another way to embed the YouTube or external files other than the main EDIT? Can there be a block of videos just like the Bands module?

Regarding removing the blocks. Run the following SQL Statements:

Regarding multiple Youtube Embed ... you would have to get that done as a custom job for Dolphin 7.0.9. It will most likely be introduced as feature in a future update of the Dolphin 7.1 version.

Hi this may be a SILLY Q, But..... I want to buy your business listing mod , however want to also add on a template from another developer is this possible????

 There should not be any issues with the custom template if it is properly designed.

I like to add the listings in a "Predefined Value" in the join form, so that when a user join, he have to choose one of the listing and be  added automaticaly in the fan's list of the selected listing,

Can be accomplished but it's not a straightforward solution. The Predefined list would have to be monitored using the alerts system and adjusted when listings are added/edited/deleted. This is work that needs to be executed by a programmer.

Hi Jerome, please - is there any chance this module (or other premium range) can be upgraded to use recurring paypal payments instead of manual renewals?

Im trying to reduce the long term work load by having user who pay for upgraded services such as listings, have automatic recurring payments. At the moment, there is no notification to admin if a business listing expires in order to then have to contact the user to renew their listing...

Are you planning on adding Listing Events, just like the way you have group events in your Premium Groups mod?  Businesses would like to add demo days, sales events, sponsored activities, etc.  It's a great mod, just needs Events.

There are no immediate plans but the suggestion has been noted.

As an Admin, I do not see any of the test businesses I've entered, listed in the Admin Businesses area.  I've messed around with changing the Menu Builder block, System Name from "Listing" to "Business".  Did that do it or do I need to re-load a file.

Can you explain what should happen when someone claims a business listing?  Do they become the owner of the listing?

 A message is sent to the site administrator who will examine the evidence provided and make a decision whether or not to fulfill the claim and assign the listing to the claimant.

I am having a strange display issue with the premium business listing module.

I am able to add a business fine and see the list of businesses fine, http://geospatialconnect.com/m/listing/home/, but if I try to view an indidual business I get a blank page e.g. http://geospatialconnect.com/m/listing/view/WALIS

Can you let me know why this might be happening?

@deanhowell - You were getting the error because in the settings you turned on integration with Coupons and Deals and you do not have those modules installed.

Version 2.1.9 released. (See patches/version_2.1.9 folder in zip file)

Categories/Sub-Categories are now multi-language compatible.

Added the ability to make some Categories Private (only Admin can post in these).

2 issues:

1) Deleted business listings are still showing up on the World Map.

2) Can "Add Coupon" be added to the business listings package options?  Working through the membership levels causes some problems such as a members being able to create coupons for an unlimited number of businesses.

 This is because you disabled the "public" privacy option in the Privacy Group in your Admin Settings.

I can't get Paid Listings to work. I have setup packages and enabled payments on the setting. Also activates Payments module to 'paypal test mode'.

How does listing owner pay/order a particular package?

You are most likely testing as Administrator. Administrator will always be able to post for Free so paid options will not show. You need to test as an ordinary member.

As I said, the custom work was uploaded to your site. After a few days the changes were gone (even though you claimed you did not restore a backup). I will re-apply the changes on Thursday.

When a premium package expires, the business listing disappears from "My Businesses".  I can view the expired business listing page through the link on the expiration email notice, but the business owner is unable to reactivate the business.  When a premium package expires, it should be downgraded to a default package and remain listed in "My Businesses" so that the owner can then upgrade it again without having to recreate the business profile.  Is there a way to do this or can you create a permanent default package to accomplish this?

I will be looking into the Relisting issue. I just have some other stuff working on presently that I need to get out of the way.

Question / request...

If I create a business listing, it will show on my profile page under the 'my listings' block.

If I have several employees, who all join that listing and I enable them as employees, even admins, they do not have the listing shown on their profile page.

It would make sense, if any employees, or listing admins, had the listing showing on their profile page also.

Is this possible please?

We are already on the end of January and I have still have nothing on what I have paid for 2 months agoooooo.  You told me twice that you will "RE" upload them (I still stand my case that I did not restore a back-up).  You said in PM last December 20, 2014 that you will "RE" upload them and your second empty promise as per your response below more than 10 days ago.  I cannot do anything in my website because I am waiting for your modifications. Now you have to give me a clear response and PLEASE HONOR YOUR WORD.  If you cannot do the job which YOU  ACCEPTED then let me know so I will know how to proceed.  I have been very patient and you are taking advantage of that.
