Post Dates

Hi All:

I wanted to ask if there is a way to modify the dates of content posted on your site (articles, blogs, photos, etc.)? My site has not been launched yet and, for example, I have articles that I created a while back that I would like to make appear more recent. Anyone know how I may be able to do this?

They're all stored in the database. Just use phpmyadmin and search for something out of the post. Then change the date to whatever you want.

Thanks mscott for the suggestion. I went ahead and tried to modify the date for a particular article. I'm thinking that the fields "when" and/or "date" are the fields which need to be modified. When I look at these fields for a particular article on my site site, the value is: 1373250420

I'm not understanding how to interpret this value with respect to the amount of days reflected on my site.

Dates listed line that are called unix time stamps. That number translates to Mon, 08 Jul 2013 02:27:00 GMT

You can convert a date to a unix time stamp or vice versa online here. http://www.onlineconversion.com/unix_time.htm

 Hi deano,

Thanks for the advice. It worked perfectly. I changed both the "when" and "date" field, with values that I got from the converter you suggested. I appreciate it!
