Points+Gifts+Rewards Mod Support (Modzzz) - part 2

The Points errors were due to usage of the wrong version of the mod.

A member would visit the Profile of another member who they wish to send a custom gift to and the link to upload the custom gift is in the actions block.

Hey Modzzz.. Did you change something? I had to re-install the whole site and on your points mod I now get this under a new install. I re-downloaded the file so all fresh and still get this error?

I also can not un-install it now.. Only give me an error..

Whats the meaning of page "Transaction History"? What exactly will show up there? Yet this page is always empty, even i bought memberships with points. So i guess when you buy memberships or points with the payment module, only these transactions will show up there right?

If so why need such a page? Won't these transactions appear in the shopping carts history, where you can see your transactions anyway? Are these records different? I cannot test this yet because our payment module is still in the works. Can you tell me modzzz?

 Transaction History page shows details of Point purchases (via Paypal). Yes, this data is quite different from shopping cart history. You can filter by present day, present week, month etc.

Gifts mod (Dolphin 7.1 version) - Fixed problem which occurred when member name display format is changed in admin setting.
Re-upload all files and clear cache.

 New Issue with the update you release today.. Now the Gifts mod does not show up the members avatar anymore. just the name and offline or online.

Rewards Mod - Patch 2.0.8 Released. (See patches/version_2.0.8 folder in zip file)

Fixes issue with cancelling orders.

 The package doesn't contain a patch for the 7.0.9 version.

 It is uploaded now.

 thanks I will have a look.there are two other things with the points mod.

a) if the admin deletes stuff the member collected points for there are no points subtracted for the member

b) is it possible to support negative points? lots users earn points for dummy actions like add photos, then spend them for you gifts mod for example and then delete these dummy photos again. if the user already spend all his points the delete actions will stop at 0 points. that's really a pain.

 Yes no points subtracted at all. If members bought or donated points.. They are still having the point that they had. the point mod need some update.

Modzzz, beside the my 2 questions before you told me some weeks ago you would replace the JW-Flashplayer of "gifts mod" to something that is license-free. The current one you ship with the mod is not compatible with https because it hardcoded calls home via http in the free version and is also not allowed to use on commercial websites. When you will replace it? I gave you some suggestions and you said you will have a look and change it.

I thought you had to put the - infront to take points away? Does that not work? I don't have members and stuff to test it out yet..

Only positive values must be used. The mod will handle the addition or subtraction depending on the kind of action being performed.

The FLV Player has been replaced.

Is there away to have admin not listed in the points mod? That they still get points but as most know. The admin will always be in the lead. Other members will get deterred that the admin get so many points and won't even try.. I know I could just take points away from the admin but then all the other mods I have from you, I have set up that it cost points..

 Agreed, I will put an option enable/disable admin gaining points.

Are all the modules in this packet up to date?

I ask because there are some errors that have been discussed many days ago either in this forum, or in the forum to separate modules.

For example, in the Points module are the following errors:
1. Point deduction is not working
2. Expires and start dates do not appear once the vouchers created
3. Unable to control the level of points. When I change the drop down select menu at Manage Levels, nothing happens.
