Hey Modzzz,

I just went off and tried to send a message and got this error:

Database error in TruckingSpace Social Network Community

Query:

SELECT `associate_id` AS `ID` FROM `modzzz_circle_category` WHERE `id`=5

Mysql error: Unknown column 'associate_id' in 'field list'

Found error in the file '/home/trucking/public_html/modules/modzzz/circle/classes/BxCircleDb.php' at line 61.
Called 'getAll' function with erroneous argument #0.

I have re-uploaded the mod with some modifications. Please re-install.

Modzzz, great mod, but a few things:

1. Is it possible to make the mod "activated" by default? I have my doubts about members realizing they need to activate it first. 

2. Is it possible to change the name of the default category "friends" to another name?

3. Would also be a nice option to create categories without having to add someone first (possibly via the setting page). Not an important one, but a suggestion.

Also appears to be an issue the with the "delete category" button on "account" page, doesn't seem to do anything.

 @mjlovesyou - The mod is alreayd "activated" by default. Other mentioned issues will be looked into.

Patch 2.0.1 Released. (See patches/version_2.0.1 folder in zip file)

"Friends" category now uses the language string "_Friends" so that it will reflect any renaming of "Friends" that was done on the site.

Added option to create categories without having to add someone first.

Issue with deleting Categories has been resolved.

1. Deleting categories now works, thanks!

2. I don't see where I can create categories without adding friends.

3. I updated the string - "_Friends", but changes do not reflect.

1) Did you upload and run the sqlupdate.php from the patch file ?

2) Did you login to your admin afterwards and cleared cache ?

If you did 1) and 2) above and it is still not working, PM me your site Admin and FTp details.

My fault, uploaded SQL, but didn't run the file, such a noob move, my bad.

By the way, think you've got an extra "d" in the file address on the readme file:

http://www.yoursite.com/sqlupdate.phpd

My Circle Module - This is now compatible with Dolphin 7.2 . For those upgrading from Dolphin 7.1, please check the upgrade folder for instructions.

Is there anyone on 7.2 using this Mod?  If so, how well does it work?  Do you like it?

I like the idea and I did look at the demo, but I would like feedback fromanyone actually using it on 7.2.

I purchased My Circle today.  

In the example site when you create a category an image icon comes out to the left of the category with a minus sign in it.  

However, on my site it comes out with text saying "Delete Category Family (0)" and the category name next to it which looks confusing without the image icon on the left.

Is there something that I need to do in order to have the image icon instead of the text?

Thank you for pointing this out, I did not realize that the image used no longer exists in Dolphin 7.2. Your site has been updated.

I dont see how to add an existing friend to any category that I have created.  

When I float my mouse cursor over a friend there is NO 'my circle' action and I do not see how to add a friend to any category.  There isnt any way to do it and the ONLY place I have found any link for 'my circle' is at the end of account.  Am I missing something?  I do not have the quick-links options block in account activated.

I have included a print screen from floating mouse cursor over friend IN my circle.  As you can see there is no My Circle (+) button.

Ok, you can disregard this I found it.  The action for admin had not been set.

I setup a category called business and put two members in it.

I then sent out a test message to business.  In my outbox it ONLY showed one message to the 2nd person in the list.  Shouldnt I see 2 messages in my outbox?

The following file is updated to resolve an issue with sending messages to categories :

modules\modzzz\circle\classes\BxCirclePageMain.php

 So how do I add this?

Download the module again and unzip it. Find the file in the path mentioned and re-upload to the same path on your server.

I have a question about the editing provided in the send a message for My Circle.

Is it possible to get an Editor so that we can have some options when sending a message to our circles?  Like paragraphing and font sizes, etc?  As an example I have an editor here when I am in reply and can bold if I want to.

The reason I ask is I sent a message that was kind of long and all the formatting for paragraphs was lost.  I ended up deleting the message.

Option added to Settings to toggle on/off allowing HTML in messages sent to circle members.

A minor update has been made to the settings block. The following file is updated :

modules\modzzz\circle\classes\BxCircleModule.php

Dolphin 7.3 version is now available.

 So do I download the zip file and reinstall?

@make1 - I mistakenly reported your post while trying to reply to it. If you updated your site from Dolphin 7.2 with the module already already, no change should be needed.

 I have done nothing to My Circle.  Do I need to get the zipfile & re-install for 7.3 or am I ok with what I have?  Sorry for my confusion.

Since the module exists on your upgraded site already - do nothing. It should continue to work without any change needed.
