Hi, I am having a problem with ver.2.2 (not the case in ver.2.1) When trying to translate "About us", "Terms of use", "Privacy policy" , "FAQ" , "Contact" and "Copyright" it doesn't work. It wont open page to start translating. It works normaly in ver. 2.1. Any help, thoughts about that?
I've noticed errors like: mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Notice: Undefined index: status in ........./language_editor/login.php on line 44
...and another strange behaviour:

Hi Mayki, This is strange, never had such error reports before, probably it's an issue with your server software. Please email me your FTP and admin access, I'll check it.
It wont open page
It's not clear, what kind of error do you see? http://boonexpert.com |
Hello, It's not clear, what kind of error do you see?
No error at all, just part of it doesn't work. See attached video.
Regards Mayki "When things get tough the tough get going..." |
Well, fixing program issues by video it's the same as treat people by photo :)
There's no information on what operation system do you use, what browser, how did you install the module, etc. I suppose some files was missing in the module while uploading.
For fast resolution of the problem, please provide FTP access to this module and admin access and I'll check it. It works for more than 100 people, there are no reports about such issues. These quick search buttons are just links to search for certain language key. Links must work under any circumstances. http://boonexpert.com |
Hi boonexpert, Well, fixing program issues by video it's the same as treat people by photo :)
People had have been treated in much more weird ways so why not trying with software too.... lol. FYI: OS: Ubuntu server - 12.04.4 LTS, Precise Pangolin Server version: Apache/2.2.22 (Ubuntu) mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.35
Here's the final status: I've removed the folder with "MLSE" and uploaded it again. As for the instalation you are mentioning, ... what installation? There is no instalation, well, not the kind one that I would understand as installation. Copying one folder to the server (with FileZilla) is hardly installation, nor is setting folder permissions ... but anyhow.... After copying everything to the directory on the server once more, it started to work!!! I'm politely apologize for the unnecessary fusss. Thank you very much for your help! EDIT: as for the treatment part, enjoy watching video Greetings from Slovenia Mayki "When things get tough the tough get going..." |
I'm glad it is solved. Seems like fixing software by watching video is possible lol :) Please feel free to write me directly if you have any questions about my modules or need help / custom work.
>> OS: Ubuntu server - 12.04.4 LTS Nice free system, I use it also. :) http://boonexpert.com |
I can not log in Language Strings Editor v.2.2
I changed hosting.
Established Language Strings Editor v.2.2 under the instruction: Create a folder (mse), downloaded all the files into it. But does wrote: I can not find the page http://bazdan.com/m/photos/view/vsechelov |
Hi Alexander, What permissions are set for "mse" directory? it should always be 755. If you are using cpanel file manager for copying files to the server, I would not recommend doing it this way. Since you are using Ubuntu, I would recommend Krusader app. http://boonexpert.com |
I'm trying to compile the Spanish language such as indicated in the file instructions: open your browser in "http://www.yourdomain/forum/?action=goto&manage_forum=1"
but I do not see the option of the Spanish language and do not know how I can compile
Thanks

Could you please specify what file instructions do you mean? http://boonexpert.com |
I acquired the language pack associated with your module and in the following instructions are given:
Thanks for buy our New 7.1.x Language Dolphin Pack !!
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS ----------------------------------
1- Make a Backup of your Dolphin Root Directory (just in case something goes wrong in the process)
2- Uncompress the language pack in your local disk
3- Go to Admin Panel /Settings/ Language Settings/Import Language (browse the file lang_xx.php recently downloaded) and click on Import button
4- Go to Admin Panel /Setting/ Language Settings and then click on the icon of the langs you want to compile and then click below the compile button
5- To compile the Orca forum:
If the language is not compiled the text in the forum will have square brackets around every expression.
5.1- To compile the language, open your browser in "http://www.yourdomain/forum/?action=goto&manage_forum=1" (or in "yourwebsite.com/forum/index.php?skin=uni" in older versions) logged in as admin.
To compile the language, you will need to click "Compile language: xx" link, where xx is the name for your new language. |
This forum thread is for Language String Editor module only, not for language packs. For the language pack support please ask its creator. http://boonexpert.com |
Hi, I followed install instruction but it wouldn't work properly. Please see attached screenshot. Please give me advice to solve this problem. Thanks, Satoru |
Hi, Your server is not adjusted to understand PHP short tags "<?". You have to change your php.ini file and set short_open_tag=on and restart your Apache server. Please send me an email if you need any assistance. http://boonexpert.com |
Thank you for your advice! Now working just fine!! |
You are welcome! http://boonexpert.com |
I have changed server so having problems with setting. Now I can open your "Master Language String Editor" with no problem. But when I click save button (floppy disk icon) I get error "403 ERRIR FIRBUDDEN" If you need to access to check problem, I will let you know login info so please give me PM. Waiting your reply.

This kind of error shows that some of module files (or directories) permissions are set in wrong way. Please read the installation manual and set them properly, also make sure that other directories permissions are set to 755 and files to 644. If you'll still need my help, please send me your FTP and admin access on email. http://boonexpert.com |
Thank you for your reply. I have checked all folder and files and permissions are seems like fine. So if you can help for this it will be so helpful to me. I will send you PM.
Thanks

Does this module has the function to make content categories into multi language versions?
Example: The attached picture is about Boonex forum. Is it possible to make the text in the red box and the test in the yellow box into multi language versions?
thanks a lot.

Hello 1265116616, Unfortunately categories system in Dolphin doesn't support multi language. http://boonexpert.com |
Hi Boonexpert, I have trouble when translate Boonex forum to another language. How can I translate the language keys in this file: YourDomain.com/modules/boonex/forum/integrations/base/langs/en.php Can I import this file use "MSE"? It looks the "MSE" can not retrieve all the language key related to Boonex forum. thanks a lot. Walter - http://www.ForeignTeacher.com |
Forum is a separate system with its own language engine, unfortunately MSE is not designed to manage forum languages. http://boonexpert.com |
