How to remove Confirm password from Join form?

Does anyone knows how to  remove 'Confirm password' field from Join form? I really need it!

Please, don't talk abut security and other things it's needed for - i know it, but for my site it's better to remove that field!

You also need to change the field from password to plain text so users can see what they are typing into it, it is easy to mistype when entering the password.  That is the purpose of the confirm password field, it is to make sure that the members are typing their password correctly because you can not change a person password if it is wrong.  That confirm password is for the members to make sure they don't mistype their password when entering it; nothing else.

Now, do you mind telling me why you won't to remove it?
