Fields Builder gone AWOL

For some reasons, the builder will just not show any options anymore, restarted pc many times, cleared caches, recompiled languages, nothing to do....

What did you last change?

I installed and then removed a few modules (Wall/Sounds/Videos), these are all the changes i can recall of

I see this is this is the fields builder, what about the other tabs; do they work?

Did you remove a field from the join form? If so, the proper procedure is to make sure to remove it from the admin section first, make sure it's not set to "mandatory," then remove it from the join form the guest sees.

Did you try and update you java or jre in a while..   or did it update without you knowing ?

The other tabs (Edit/View/Search) do not shows anything too, but this "Join"tab it's the only tab which show a message: "Loading..."

Yes i always update things on these pc's, i had a problem with Java a while ago, it messed up the Facebook's page for about a week, then it fixed itself somehow, should i try to remove some of the updates???

not to sure if its your pc or dolphin.  do you have another computer around to check it from ?

Dolphin is loaded on a pc running XP, i usually control that pc connecting with my laptop running Vista by using it's local address(LAN).

But i also try to access directly the tabs on the pc and the same thing happen.

I just updated Java yesterday, as i had that nice looking red window asking me to install the newer version, i am going to give it another try, maybe it fixed itself

I haven't taken any actions yet, i have been looking around to see what step should be better to take next, the system restore was disabled on that pc, so, i had a general look, the Java and the J2SE Runtime Environment are quite large files, 93 and 153MB, so i will try to avoid removing them, right now i am updating the Flash Player, not sure if it will affect anything...

I am also thinking about removing all of the modules and re-installing them again

Maybe i will just wait till the new version it's released and hope it will works with that.

Alternatively i could try some VooDoo, has anyone got a spare dolphin's shaped doll with at least a half dozen needles included, i could borrow for a couple of days?????

Try setting your default lang again... It worked for me... shortly after I shit the bed in frustration
