I wanted to post a comment in the market for this, but I have not purchased so it will not let me. I have the versio from test. I would have loved to have given it 10 stars lol.

The integration with the affiliates matrix is great. I checked the calculations and traced it through the whole system and appart from the small display issue I mentioned to you it is flawless. All calculations are correct and feed through just fine.

I l;ove this module and so do my members. it makes it much easier and much more obvious to them when they want to invire friends,

Great Mod.... I noticed you can set how many friends the mod will show i the back end greater than 40.  My question is do you know what the limit would be for mall posting on FB before there is trouble? I know if I invite all my friends in the event section of fb there is no issue and i have a few thousand friends... most of my friends do too...i would hate to see any one be flagged for spamming as all my friends are of  the same niche my site is... Thanks

By default, php SDK which is used in our mod has no any limitations per day for posting feeds to friends’ wall for each user.  Facebook has limitation only for your Facebook App on how many posts your app can make per day.  Limit’s value is not static. It varies by app and over time depends on the app's behaviour. If your app produces posts of low quality(spam), as measured by how many times people comment on, like, or hide your app posts, then Facebook will decrease your daily limit. These limits are collected on app statistics page and can be seen here the Insights page.

You will get an error message back from the Facebook API if you exceed the limit. The error number is 341 and the description is "Feed action request limit reached". This limitation is based on per-user,  per-day basis.

fyi your are limited to 400 characters in your message....which is good by the way..

Question when I send out to say 200 by listing 200 on a page and hitting toggle.. all is fine. How do i send out the next batch of 200 as i have over 2000 friends?  If i list say 500 it does show the ones i already sent to so if i hit toggle i dont want to resend to the first group a second time with the same message.. and it seems there is no way to go to the next set of 200.

We will update version soon with new features which allows to sort members by name and divide them into two pages (sent and not sent members).
We will try to finish it on the next week.

sounds great... another thing you may want to look at while you are at it is. on ie and firefox if you toggle more than 400 it just sits there when you press send message/invite.

also the list is so long you have to reduce your screen in ie to 40% to get to the send button if you are over 200.. Ipad had no issue with the screen..

We have added new feature which allows to divide members on three members groups (sent, not sent and all).

Also several improvements were added.

Anton have a slight problem with this mod, it's taking over 5 seconds to load in the member.php area :(

Usually, login to facebook process takes a little bit more time then other functions which available in Facebook Inviter block after login. For example: After login search for friend or change number of  friends in the block take about 1-1.5 seconds maximum.
 
Speed of the data loading from facebook depends on your server's speed and settings.

Ohhh... I think i will upgrade to the latest version..... Anton, in order to upgrade what do I have to do? just copy over the files? or uninstall, upload and reinstall???

If you have version 1.0.3 or higher then you just need to overwrite files. But if you have version lower then 1.0.3, then you need to uninstall previous version first, then upload new files and install new version. It should be done because few changes were added in database.

There are several corrections were done for integration with Points System and also now it is available for Dolphin 7.1

All went well and I got the API from FB,etc.

When I go to test it through my account, I get a popup error message from Facebook saying :

"Invitation was not sent! (#200) Feed story publishing to other users is disabled for this application"

If the user has not provided the appropriate permissions to publish on the user’s behalf, you will receive this error message. It means if the user has not provided the publish_stream permission, this error will be returned.

Anton - that's very crappy and I think you should have explained that in your page.

This means that 100% of the people will not permit access to this app unless they had previously accepted this app.  I tested it on my own account yesterday and of my 371 friends, 0% allowed access from my inviter.

This makes this app redundant close to 100% of the time because most people only allow apps they know and want.

This was not made clear on your page.  I purchased this app thinking I wouldnt have this problem.  Now what?

By default, a member can send invitations to all friends on facebook and only if any of friends blocks your application, you will get error message and will not be able to post on the wall. Maybe FB changed something in their settings, I'll check it and let you know in the nearest time.

 Hi Anton, I would like to help you a bit bro..what i did is if you have Deano Facebook Connect and have AQB  friend inviter

Please check the Facebook App ID/API Key and Facebook App Secret make sure it was updated.

In my case DFConnect is updated but for friend inviter its not so it returns error.

If people don't approve a new app, the app is not allowed to communicate with that account.  That's what happens.

In other words, since most people don't know about your app i cant send invites to anybody.  That's a problem because it basically makes this app unusable!  Very, very few people on FB these days leave their accounts open for any old app they don't previously approve to communicate with their accounts.

Please check quickly because its been a number of days now and I need to know if you can get a work-around or not.

Each member who wants to send invitations to their facebook's friends, has to login to facebook first from FB block on member.php page. If the member didn't login he/she will not have rights to post something on facebook.

i logged in on the member.php page

"Invitation was not sent! (#200) Feed story publishing to other users is disabled for this application" 

is what i get too so whats this supposed to mean? and how can it be fixed?  (this is for 7.0.9)

Commonly, this problem occurs when friend for which you try to send invitation blocked your application on facebook. Can you please provide us with site's access info through our inbox, we will check it?

 Sorry, but this is incorrect.

This app will ONLY allow communication with my FB friends IF they had previously accepted that app.  In other words, this inviter will be blocked to 100% of the people.

I need a solution or I'm afraid I'll need a refund.

Several days ago Facebook changed its API and turned off feeds posting feature through API and now it is available only via javascript. We are working on the new version and try to finish it on this week.

A really great addition to this module, is that you can specify the  link in the adminpage of the invitation that appears in facebook, so we can will redirect to "Facebook Connect" or other more strategic pages depending on the website.

I'd like to be able to know how, since we'll have to create the FB app for this to work, how it will affect the 'FB Like' buttons and 'FB comments' boxes that I already have integrated my site WITHOUT creating an FB app.  Will it delete existing comments, for example?

It is very simple, it's just that the link assigned to the publication of Facebook, may be assigned by the site administrator.

Tomorrow is Friday and 2 weeks for the rewrite? Are you wrapping it up or having issues? 

 Actually its been close to 60 days since I alerted Anton of problems...it is now officially taking a toll on my business and mindset.  

I dont want a refund.  I just want a more concise timeline. And I'm waiting for this to get sorted so i can purchase 2 other products from him...just so he knows!

Sorry for such long delay.
Facebook has several breaking dates (when they change their API's). First was in previous month and the last one - today, 1st of March. We tried to find the best solution to save all features and exclude all new problems with the last breaking changes date.

Facebook's team has removed post feed feature from PHP SDK (it is available only through Javascript SDK now) and also they have removed the option which allowed to post on multiple friends' walls, due to sheer amount of spam that went out through the open graph API. To save everyone's sanity they decided to remove the functionality entirely.

Well, now member can post feed only to single person at once.

We are already testing the latest Facebook Inviter now and it will be available during the weekend.
