Contests Mod Support (Modzzz)

This is the support forum for the Contests mod.

Version 2.0.1 released. (See patches/version_2.0.1 folder in zip file)

Resolved missing language key issues plus a few other items.

This module is now compatible with Dolphin 7.2 . For those upgrading from Dolphin 7.1, please check the upgrade folder for instructions.

A layout update has been made. Replace the file below then clear cache.

An update has been made to the Points/Credits integration. Re-upload the modules\modzzz\contest\classes folder.

I see how to set an end date for voting, but is it possible to set a start date for voting?

 There is an "Entry End Date" which is the cutoff date for entries. Voting begins after that date.

 So to be clear people cannot vote until the Entry End Date?

On the homepage, the thumbnail is not resizing the image to fit.  How do I change this?  I tried uploading a smaller image so that it would fit the width of the thumbnail box, but that did not work.  It came out the same.

 And when sharing the contest to facebook, that thumbnail is not the one that shows.  I'd really like my banner to show when sharing to social media.  Thank you for any and all help.

Thumbnail resizing is handled by the Photos module so you should also be noticing this issue with other modules that uses Photos (not just the contest). Confirm whether or not this is a global issue on your site.

This module is available for Dolphin 7.3. It has also been updated to fix an issue with voting, re-upload the files.

Updates have been made to resolve issues with Vote button not showing on Entries page and also limiting Contest Entry based on Gender. The following two files are modified :

Hi Modzzz,

Is it possible to edit/change this particular menu bar? (See attached picture)

(i.e. Remove the sounds, photos, ads)

@autozike - The picture is showing the menu bar for the profile page but it seems to be appearing on the Contest main page. PM me your site URL and Admin login so I can take a look.

Dolphin 7.4 - Updates have been made for this version. Re-upload the module files.
