This is the support forum for the Collaboration mod.

How are monetary contributions handled? Are they directed towards the members paypal account? Does an admin paypal account receive a percentage? I am not sure how this feature functions.  Thanks.

Collaborations Module - This is now compatible with Dolphin 7.2 . For those upgrading from Dolphin 7.1, just re-upload the module files (no re-install needed).

Hi, 

I just installed this module and am having some issues on my site that are the same in the demo site :

- When in the action   collaboration add collaboration is not actived, in the collaboration page a member canno't ADD SUGGESTION

- When in the action   collaboration add collaboration is not actived, in the collaboration page a member canno't ADD FEEDBACK when he is admin of the collaboration group (as I understand only admin of col grp can)

=> Seems some rights concerning actions are missing : 

- Collaboration : Add suggestions

- Collaboration : Add feedback

- When in the action   collaboration add collaboration is not actived, in the contribution page a member canno't ADD PLEDGE in the contribution page

-In the contribution view - I can add pledge - But once it is created - action : EDIT = adding a new pledge  and action : DELETE do nothing

-strange usage about action "Pledge" - when I create the contribution : action ADD pledge appears (fine), I do add one, a couple days latter ... no more button action : EDIT and Action : DELETE - I sure did misse something ..

Check (Login as an admin of demosite ..):

=> So it's wird and unusable - Would it be better to make the pledge editable (click on title) and give opportunity to modify/delete it from inside. And so having only a basic Action : ADD Pledge

And give 

- Collaboration : Add, modify and delete Pledge

Can you help with those bugs ?  - I did took off the Group Premium for this module collaboration, and .... am in trouble ;-)

Thanks for the patch, I did install it, (and the Dolphin 7.3.5 one) and :

1) do have an cron error once a while :

PHP Fatal error:  Class 'BxCollabPrivacy' not found in /var/www/vhosts/solorg.com/httpdocs/_gouvinfo.net/IAI/modules/modzzz/collab/classes/BxCollabModule.php on line 178

2) any member with membership actions on "browse, search, view" AND are defined as being able to make suggestion into a collaboration group :

- Cannot make a suggestion (Whatever fan or not of the group)

=> they should ! since the parameters inside the collaboration group let it decide rather or not they can

3) any member with membership actions on "browse, search, view" AND not member of collaboration group

- can enter into a contribution needed, and add a pledge

=> They should not see/enter the "contribution needed" since they are not member of the collaboration groupe

4) In a larger view, I do have a hard time to understand the actions of membership :

- collaboration browse : It do nothing activated or not. And If view collaboration is off then we still do see nothing.

=> We should be able to list the name and extract of collaboration (browse le groups) but not enter into it ?

- collaboration search : Do not understand what it really do !

=> is it useful ?

- collaboration view collaboration : If not activated : hide the name and extract of collaboration group for /m/collab/home/

=> In association with the collaboration browse, it should juste hide the "inside of group" not letting any one go into the group if desactivated ?

Am I right ?

This is really frustrating, in addition/complement of the point above :

At this moment, I connot get to have :

- Some members can see the tittle and resume of the collaboration group (http://www.gouvinfo.net/IAI/m/collab/home/) 

AND when the click on a group they CANNOT see inside the group (the suggestion, the pledge, ...)

Is this possible ?

@gouvinfo - Download the module again and get this file and re-upload it to the same path on your server. I am not sure why it would have gone missing.

Trying to find workaround until this privacy issue is resolved, using the "page access module" but it is very complicated, and give unexpected comportment. like Any member can any way see what is inside the groupe (except non register members)

Could you please resolve this Issue, it has been since february, that's too long.

• I did download module again and change the BXCollabPrivacy (was the same anyway) I still have every day the cron error on this file.

- any member can any way see what is inside the groupe

I start to add content into this module and because of this issue, it is useless and show information it should not. Please, can you correct it, in case not, I will desinstall it and try to find something else. Will need refund on this case (except you propose another module).

The BxCollabPrivacy.php file was using short open tags which causes an issue in later PHP version. Please re-upload modules/modzzz/collab/classes/BxCollabPrivacy.php.

I am very sorry but I can not get to have this script work. Please check on my website

I do have : 

- collaboration view collaboration => OK

- collaboration browse => OK

and for a collaboration site (https://www.gouvinfo.net/IAI/m/collab/view/IAI-Awards) :

- View collaboration => Member (only member can see the site collaboration)

- Join => Public (so every one can join)

- Allow viewing by membership => (so every membership can see the site and so can join)

- Allow joining by membership => (so every membership can see the site and so can join)

And for a contribution part of the collaboration site (https://www.gouvinfo.net/IAI/m/collab/contribution/view/Cr%C3%A9ation-de-l-association-des-IAI-Awards-D%C3%A9finition-des-r%C3%B4les-et-actions-%C3%A0-engager) :

- Who can see you => Public (## impossible to change, normal ?)

- Comment and rate => member only

And for a feedback part of the collaboration site (https://www.gouvinfo.net/IAI/m/collab/feedback/view/20180111-CR-Equipe-coeur-IAI-Awards-R%C3%A9union-N-3-D%C3%A9localis%C3%A9e)

Then I did :

- recopy all files from last download of module Collaboration

- recopy again the BxCollabPrivacy.php. (in case of ..)

- clear cache (admin part and front part)

RESULTS : 

-> Feedback and contribution and suggestion and suggestion are all visible for members that did not join the collaboration site (## they should not, just see the first part of collaboration site (présentation))

-> and suggestion is visible for non member (should not but impossible to change the "Who can see you to other than public". In fact it is the same for suggestion and contribution, but a non member canno't see it (ok for me but strange to have 2 different comportment)

Update made to the viewing access functionality.

I think there is an error. Not sure. 

1. Create a collaboration. 2. Create a contribution. 3 When you now press manage status of any contribution. Then the field status is empty.

By the way are those status fields hard coded? Or would it be possible to change them in the admin or somewhere else?

1.  When uploading an image and then pressing the + button, the next entry field also shows the name of the previous selected image.

2. On the home screen of the collaboration module. When you show the "common categories" then the loading time of the home screen is quite slow. Is there a way to speed it up?

3. When using the embeded youtube code, then the video on mobile does not fit.

PM me a link to your site with login info so I can take a look. Administrators cannot change status because underlying coding must exist to handle each status value.

Yes, this is normal functionality that is present in every module (default or custom). 

Issues reported by @mrtn above have been resolved. Kindly re-upload module files.

When voting on a collaboration in the VIEW screen of a collaboration. The vote count does not go up directly and the user can vote press multiple times. When you then refresh with pressign F5 you see that the vote count went up multiple times. Other modules of yours work differrently so i suppose that is an error.
