Anton; I have setup several email blasts using this mod, I know it has been working, but lately it seems my newer members are not getting the necessary emails. Does it have to do with my host company perhaps? please advise. Thanks | ||

Thank, JIm Hi Jim, Yes, a field with a caption Username is actually named NickName (you can see that in fields builder). If your goal is to put profile's NickName then use ::NickName:: placeholder. By default all email templates are using RealName which represents FirstName_LastName - since these fields are enabled by default in Dolphin. Hi, I've set-up 14 emails to be sent to new users, 1 per day for 2 weeks.
When I hit the TEST button for each of these emails, they are sent successfully.
However, when a new registers, they are not receiving the emails/
My Boonex CRON job is set-up correctly because my CRON jobs are working.
Do you have any ideas why NONE of my auto emails are being sent?

This can be achieved by placing several automails using several fixed dates. I.e. 1) a fixed date ; simply means placing two automails - one at that fixed date and the second one at fixed date + X days. F.ex. if it should be January 1 and then 5 days later, then just create two automails - one for January 1 and the second one for January 5. This could happen if somehow in your system there are 2 cron jobs registered for the module. Check the sys_cron_jobs database table via phpMyAdmin and ensure that it has only one record with the name set to aqb_automailer. If a message isn't listed in admin panel then it is not in database and I have no idea how it can show up in a test. Try to clean your notification queue at [admin panel -> tools -> mass mailer]. Also clean site's cache at [admin panel -> tools -> cache]. Also if you were replacing just a text of an automail then ensure that you don't have an old text copy in other languages in that automail - it is possible that you've updated only the default version while left the version in a specific language in the old variant. I mean that on the mail edit form you can switch between default and english language via a language dropdown. I.e. even if you have only one language, automailer still offers you to provide two variants - the default and english. Best regards, Hello, This is a problem/feature of tinyMCE editor. The same behavior you can see anywhere on the site where that text editor is being used. This guarantees that in case of a domain change or site's location change the existing content will not be linked to an old domain. Anyway the automailer is having a bunch of placeholders which you can see while hover the mouse cursor over the info icon for the mail body textarea. One of which is ::Domain::.
