Are You Interested? Mod Support (Modzzz)

This is the support forum for the Are You Interested? mod.

Dear Modzzz Congratulation on that great Idea but for me I see the mod is incomplete. it will be much better if there is a pop up block or flash on the account that will tell the member someone Interested. it is only send an email. I can't even remember when was the last time I checked my email address. I hope the next update version of this mod will be complete with more great feature what will let the member know someone Interested.

The module is not working well for me.  

First, although I totally removed the need for points as my site is not on a points system, it does not show up on membership controls so I can not limit its use based upon the type of membership.

Second, when a user goes to the modules home page: http://chicpeoplemeet.com/m/interested/home/

the following error appears: _modzzz_interested_membership_level_view_msg

Finally, when  one clicks on a secret admirer it is requiring them to upgrade although they should be able to see

To solve the missing language string issue :

Re-download the mod and replace the following file : modules\modzzz\bands\install\lang\en.php
 
Login to your Admin Panel, go to Tools=>Modules and under "Installed Modules" select "Are You Interested?" then scroll down and click "Recompile language(s)"

Regarding the membership access problems :

You should see two actions in your membership levels :

a) interested play interested

b) interested view admirer

You need to activate these actions for the membership levels you want to have access to the module.

Empty or There are no Members matching your Preference: When there are matching and not empty...  Mod need to be update I guess... Please fix.

 I have installed newest version of module and the same thing, "There are no Members matching your Preference"...

PM me specific details regarding your problem. Provide sample login that can be used to see the problem and indicate sample members who match the preference but are not being shown.

WHEN WILL 7.1 UPDATE OCCUR?

 If you check three posts above yours you will see that 7.1 update was released 22 days ago :)

This is normal behavior. If you have the setting that says "Members must spend Points to view their Admirers" activated, then neither the admirer's username nor profile link is shown. Instead only the word someone is shown. However, if the above mentioned setting is turned off you will see username and profile link in the message.

Great mod but incomplete. when members login the site they won't even know if someone secret admire them or not. there is no alert or notification after login that will show someone interested  or how many secret admire that they have.

That will be really nice  if that feature can add to the mod. without it the mod is incomplete. This is one of the reason I uninstalled the mod to my site I don't see the need of it. If no one will know someone interested or secret admire them.

 I will implement some notification ability on the Member Account page.

We are running the mod in open mode and have some problems/questions.

1. In the PREVIOUS MEMBERS BLOCK the photos are not showing. Only the anonymous icons are shown.

2. We have your verifyed members modul. So we must change the adress in BxInterestedTemplate.php. Can you make a field for the adress in admin settings? So we don't change it after an update again.....

3. The language in the buttons Match/Skip/No is not editable. We have a new langfile with all changes and have it compile. But nothing is change....

4. We want an alert and/or block for the index/account/profile page with matches!

RESPONSE : PM me site details so this can be investigated.

RESPONSE : I do not understand why anything has to be changed because of the verified mod. PM me details showing exactly what you change.

RESPONSE : The buttons are editable. If the language is not changing after update then something is wrong with the language recompile on your site.  These are the respective language keys :

_modzzz_interested_skip_caps
_modzzz_interested_no_caps

Added Member Menu integration to allow notification of new matches.

Thank you for this update, it's a beautiful system upgrades. I have just a small bug, the display of the notifcation is doubled each time.

The doubling issue mentioned above has been resolved. Re-upload the modules\modzzz\interested\classes folder.

Added the ability for Admin to manage the number of profiles shown on "My Matches" and "My Admirers" pages.

This module is now compatible with Dolphin 7.2 . For those upgrading from Dolphin 7.1, please check the upgrade folder for instructions.

An issue with duplicate Profile showing as interested is resolved. Re-upload module files and clear cache.

An issue with the display of random images is resolved. Re-upload module files and clear cache.

How can I integrate the credit's module?

You will have to get that done as a customization. If interested, you can PM me the details of how it should be done.

The operation of the module does not make sense or does not work well.

It does not make much sense to keep showing the same profiles once they have been marked as interesting or not.

Data is not stored in the db when _modzzz_interested_block_prev_matches is not enabled, and thumbnail images in that block (_prev_matches) do not displayed correctly, how to resolve this?

RESPONSE : Please elaborate on how you came to this conclusion and exactly which data are you referring to ?

When click "Match" on Interested home page, the data is not saved in modzzz_interested_main DB table  if the _modzzz_interested_block_prev_matches block is not enabled, i.e. if remove that block in administration page builder, no data is saved in DB table when click on the Match button.
