1 Sorry, site is temporary unavailable. Please try again later.

Why am I getting blank page with "1 Sorry, site is temporary unavailable. Please try again later."? I was messing with the template, clearing the cache and then refreshing the page. All fine, then suddenly this message. Have reverted the template files back, but still get this message.

On a seperate not... I have a perminent, unlimited license, but the boonex branding is still there?

I think we would be able to better understand the situation if you posted a screenshot.

No point with screen shot as it was like I said. Blank page with  "1 Sorry, site is temporary unavailable. Please try again later." Wink

I managed to sort it though. It was a cache problem. I removed the boonex footers from the template as they were still there after I entered my license. That resulted in the message, and the message remained after I put it back due to the cache. Managed to get into admin and clear the cache. Also cleared my license key, then reapplied it and it's all good now.

I'm having the same problem - when I put the tag back and clear my caches all is fine and the page works - but with the boonex footer.

If I remove it I can try to clean my cache as often as I like to but nothing happens - I always get the same blank page and the exact same error-notification. I'm using the prime license and entered it into my dolphin installation within Settings > Advanced > Variables > License Code ... or did I miss to make a change somewhere else?

Hoping for quick and helpfull answers ;-)

Kind regards, Dominik

First thing. You CANNOT manually remove the __boonex_footers__ from the template.

Older versions of dolphin used to display an obvious message indicating you manually removed it and to put it back in.

The latest version of dolphin displays the message "1 Sorry, site is temporary unavailable. Please try again later."

The footers will be automatically removed when your license key properly registers with boonex.

Follow these steps to insert your licence.

1) Remove the current key from Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Variables -> License Code. Make sure your save settings after removing current key.

2) Log out of your site.

3) Log back in through the back entrance. www.yoursite.com/administration/. Do not log in from the front page of your site.

You will be prompted for your key. Enter it there.

Check to make sure your key registered by looking at it at http://www.boonex.com/unity/community/licenses

You should see your domain name listed next to the licence key.

If you do not, then your server might not have the php option allow_url_fopen which must be on for this to work. So check your server hosting setup to make sure it meets dolphins requirements. http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/DolTech

Thanks for your reply - this solved my problem so far right now - but I'm not satisfied with this solution.

We paid for the license and so I want to ensure, that no external problems can easily cause the branding-footer to be displayed.

For example: I think the system will continuous check, if the license is valid - but what if the system recieves an error on the request caused by timeout or sth. else? I want to ensure, that the footer will not be displayed in this case - not even in the sourcecodes if I comment it out.

Kind regards,

Dominik

Hi all - I'm getting the same error message.  I was uploading the "Favicon", cleared the cache, and then got this message when I opened my websites homepage.  I took out the html codes that I had previously entered to reverse the situation, but it did not work.  I tried what deano suggested, but no luck.  Any ideas?

i am getting mostly the same error except i get "0 Sorry, site is temporary unavailable. Please try again later." when i try to edit a group. i have tried a few things that was said in this forum but nothing has worked. Everything worked fine a few days ago and i have a perm. license which was entered days ago when everything worked.. i have no idea what caused this to happen.

ok i have seemed to narrow it down to my template... i put the default template back on and everything seems to work... any ideas on what it could be?

Well according to the other people in this thread who had basically the same problem it was because the Boonex footers were removed. Does your custom template have the Boonex footers in it? If not that's your problem.

problem solved Thanks... seemed to be all the .html files in the template folder. I just deleted them all and everything works. Which now it has me wondering why they put them in there in the first place if it is not needed? O well, Thanks again.

Quote · 14 Nov 2011

Did you clear the cache after you deleted them? The site shouldn't work correctly without them. Each one of those html files is basically the framework for a different page of the site. Like page Page_1.html is the homepage and so on and so forth.

Maybe the site is using the other template?

yes i cleared it... it still works... i haven't checked but it's a simple template and i think mostly works off the default template. Just changes the colors and background mostly.

I got the same error i also was not able to access any of the pages in my site no mater what I tried. I was not even able to access the administration side of dolphin. So went to my Cpanel and found the Cashe and Cashe_public folders and cleared all files that were stored there. Then I tried accessing the site again and had no further issues.

Just a note:  There is a .htaccess file under /cache/, which should not be deleted.  In case you deleted that, upload a new one.

I am also getting the same problem. My site was hosted at tmdhosting. After giving complaints to tmdhosting, they suggest me as below :

"We have once again resolve the issue that you have experienced by clearing the cache memory of your Dolphin script. I am afraid that we do not have information on why the issue is appearing and you will have to contact the Dolphin's development team in order to get further assistance on such matters. They should be able to provide information for their own product."

What is the permanent solution ?

I have Same problem too and TMD hosting tell me to go here for this problem .. If i don't delete myself in admin panel each 2 or 3 hours  BAM  my website down and i have this message :  "1 Sorry, site is temporary unavailable. Please try again later."   my licence is ok all is ok i don't understand..  Pls Boonex did you have a solution for that??????

Since everyone who has had this problem was hosted on TMD I don't really think it's a Boonex problem.

Are you using  one of the TMD templates? If so that's your problem.

If your having this issues after uploading the fixed is in the templates base html file..try to troubleshoot by replacing html file with old html file of course you may want to put back that the latest version needed sample 7.0.9.

And i'm sure this will sort issues.

a blank page with nothing but

"1 Sorry, site is temporary unavailable. Please try again later."

is a nightmare!

I did nothing to the site, and 13hrs ago, this happened.. my host, mia.net cleared it up by clearing the cache, and said it looked like a licensing issue..

Are you using a TMD template?

This issue is normally caused by missing boonex footers or an attempt to bypass the boonex footers.

Given it went away after the cache was cleared the most likely explanation is just a corrupt cache file.

I just have the default template that was installed with Dolphin.. I've been thinking of getting new templates tho..

I tried clearing the cache via software.. So now I have to figure out how to do it server side.. As I'm not a server guy, and I let the host do all that..
